Hi!
I´m very interested in buying the Roland VS890 (8 channel 24 bit recording).
Here are some questions:
1) How big is the HD that the VS890 normally come equipped with?
2) Is there an online manual anywhere so that I can check some things, specs, for example (the Roland site is pretty scarse with that)?
3) Is the VS890 capable of using all the 4 spdif ins (both the RCA stereo spdif and the optical stereo spdif) for all in all 4 channels of different tracks of mono digital recording simultaneously?
4) Is it capable of +4 dbU balanced operation?
5) Anyone used it as a live mixer with success?
6) A lot of people complaining that their multitrackers (for example Korg D16 and the Yamaha AW4416) have noisy fans. Any different with the VS890?
7) Any experience with using the machine together with Logic?
8) Is its OS stable and are your generally speaking satisfied with the machine?
