Ok lucky as I am I got me a fancy Roland VS-8080XE digital
workstation. I've figured out the basics of it like bouncing tracks and what not, but anyone can read the manuel. My problem is getting a good clear overall solid sound for my band. When we're done with bass, drums, and the 2 guitars, we of course need vocals. The problem is the vocals sound waaay better than the rest of the recording. I have the good shure mics sm-57 and 58 and i have a good boom mic. I definelty don't want to down grade the vocals to fit the so so quality of the music...but i need some overall tips on getting this workstation to get a more professional sound for my guitar and bass and drums. I know its a broad topic, but if anyone wants to email me with some goodies on this its peetr3@lycos.com or just post a thread and help me out!! THanks in advance!
