Roland VS-1824CD Frozen!

My Roland VS-1824CD froze on me during a backup to CD-R procedure. The screen is stuck saying: "Now working... 0%". It's been stuck there for a couple of hours. The verify option was turned off.

Is there a way to reset the unit without killing the power?

My VS-1680 ocassionally does this - usually if there's a space problem. I fix it by power-cycling, and so far, no damage has been done. It hasn't occurred since I installed a larger hard-drive.

Sorry - yes! I don't think there's any other way of un-freezing it (sounds like the O/S might be a MicroSloth derivative, eh?) - sorry I can't be more helpful -
