Does anyone out there have a 626 ? If so how do you like it? I mostly just leave mine MIDIed up to my Keyboard for extra "balls" on rythmn tracks. I have to force myself to program more I guess.
In 1988-90, this was my drum machine! It was the big brother to the TR-505 (the drum machine of choice for Steve Albini's Big Black) only it had more sounds and song patterns.
it also has 808 and 909 sounds yes? I always loved that machine, the drum sounds were pretty realistic, the midi was good and I even tracked a song using the buttons in real time and it never failed me.
too bad samplers (and the Alesis SR-16) took over the world....
