I noticed that when I have headphones on my crash and ride cymbals are 1 on one side and one on the other...how can I get this effect when recording from the outputs in to my interface?

Record in stero, send the Right to one channel on your interface, Left to the other. Then pan Right/Left in your recording software.

Yah you just run your two outputs to two inputs. Figured they were panned 'in the box' though.

I don't know what kind of outputs the TD4 has, but if it only has one stereo out it may be helpful to use an insert cable to connect it to the two ins on your interface.

Duh!! This totally worked! I just assumed it would record two mono tracks...Thanks!:D

Technically it is recording two mono tracks, but of course they're different. One contains the sound from the left channel and one from the right. Glad you got it working!
