Roland Pma-5???

Are there any PMA-5 users out there? I'm thinking about buying one to use as a notepad kinda thing but I've never actually seen one except at ebay. Typical price is about $200. Any thoughts??

I am, have used one for about a year now. If you are going to use it just for creating ideas it will be fine, but if you want to get down and dirty you will run out of options with the 4 track sequencer, effects, and sounds. I really don't care for many of the sounds, they are very basic not even close to the JV and XV modules. I got mine for $99 blowout sale at Guitar Center. If you have other equipment yo can give it a try but if it will be your only or first piece, PPLLEASSEE keep looking because you will be limiting yourself very soon..

Thanks Mastermindz for the tip. I've got several other sound sources already including a JV880 etc. I do all of it from a guitar+ GI-10 . Was hoping that I would get some cool new sounds...oh well
