I recently bought a Roland Fantom 6 to replace an old Roland XP30 that was starting to give me trouble. I mainly got the Fantom because it has a lot of decent stock sounds (I no longer have the time or desire to tweak and tweak). However, I'm impressed by all the other things it does (synth section, sampler, sequencer, etc.).
More options than I really need and way too much to try to learn - but for a little over $1,000 this think does a lot!!!!
