I have an old Roland E-66 "intelligent synthesizer" that I use as a controller, but one key has an odd way of sounding much louder sometimes than all the others. Also, it's much harder to push down the keys toward the ends that are farthest away from you (what would be close to the fallboard on an acoustic piano) than the ends closest to you -- it really makes it hard physically to play. (Not my technique -- I have a grand with a stiff action and I'm a piano teacher by trade.) Does anyone know if the one loud key can be fixed, and if the action can be fixed also? Thanks for any info!
