Do roland and korg have good Recording Systems I like alesis stuff better than others. what do you think???

YO CJ:

I don't know if Alesis makes any "recorders."

Oh, they do ADAT and that is a nice box.

But, what are your needs and objectives?

Roland stuff has good quality but I'm told it also has a myriad of buttons to push to do this or that. Learning curve is long.

I'm not familiar with the learning curve with ADAT but lots of folks use them and lots of information is available on this site.

Korg is also nice stuff and from what I've heard, not too difficult to use.

Then, there is the Yamaha MD-8; pretty easy to learn when you take it out of the box; takes a while and much chat to figure out some of the other things it can do.

YEA, VERILY SIR DRAGON OF LARGE SCALES....

WE NEED A YAMAHA MD-8 FORUM.

The Green Hornet has buzzed.
