I'm so sorry.
Im wanting to take a Roland 1880 and dump individual tracks into Pro tools. I just learned that the optical out on the machine provides a stereo mix only coming out. What I want to do is use Midi to lock the Roland into Pro tools for the sake of the dumping. I guess what Im looking for is some kind of analog 8 channel mic pre that'll go into my pc via hopefully USB. Is there such a thing? Can it be done this way?
