I was recently in Australia and also happen to have a Rode NTK, so maybe I can help.

I got a great deal on mine $429, but I think the standard is around $500 last time I checked.

Assuming a .72 to the dollar exchange rate (which I have no idea if that's current) then you're in the right range. Just divide 1 by whatever the current exchange rate is and multiply that by $500 and it should give you a pretty good idea. Hope this helps.

Where are you and where did you get that price from? I don't normally follow Rode prices but I think that around $700 is going to be the typical advertised price, although you may be able to negotiate a dealer down a bit more.
