I use NTK quite a bit, being my only tube mic (God, I want that Lawson). The mic and its power supply have given me no problem at all, but the supplied cable's molded connectors cracked within days of my buying it (brand new). After a couple of years, they have cracked clean through, and are falling apart. The designation, for reference, is NTR-C. I couldn't find a Rode dealer in the U.S. that stocks it, so yesterday I fired off an email to customer support. They responded by phone and email the following morning, and shipped me a new one free of charge, the same day. I have to say, that is the kind of thing that would cause me to consider buying a Classic II. Rode, you rock!-Richie
