Rode Classic II

I've heard great things about the RODE Classic II, being compared to the M149 which is double the price.I think that it is time for me to invest in a decent tube mic and I just was wondering if anyone has ever used the RODE Classic II before and if it is a good mic or not. Any thoughts or feelings on this mic or recommendations of other Tube mics would be appreciated. Thanks again! :)
 
I'll browse and ask around the rec.audio.pro newsgroup and see if anyone has any opinions yet...
 
The origional Rode Classic i don't own but i have heard it, and it does sound every bit as good as anything elce i've ever listened to. I would also think the Classic 2 would be an improvement.
