Ok, just been in contact with Rockwool and was asking for the coefficients for 100mm RW45, 3, 4, 5 Rockwool. They don't know! lol. They gave me them for 25, 50, 75mm but don't know for 100mm. Them seem very good at other thicknesses except in low frequencies, and i was hoping the thicker ones would have better. Does anyone here know what they are, or could have a guess as to what they think, looking at the thinner ones?
Cheers

this website has ratings for just about every insulation product on the market...

http://www.bobgolds.com/AbsorptionCoefficients.htm

i looked for you, but couldnt find the ratings for the 100mm... my guess is the 100mm hasnt even been tested so i doubt you'll find any NRC ratings... if I were you, I would either look for something else that has been tested so you can be sure, or just double up two 50mm boards... most people are doing that with OC 703 boards...

Cool, thanks a bunch. I'll have a look and find exactly what I'm looking for. Cheers

What about knauf insulation? Has anyone every used it, and how is it? It just the same as Rockwool, 703, etc? The coefficients in bobgolds.com only give for 2" and i need 4"(for bass absorbtion). Knauf and Rockwool(and possibly isowool)are the only insulation i can seem to get in my area.
