The time has come. I'm building a studio in my back yard and hope that no one will complain about noise when its done.
I have a pretty big shed in my back yard w/ 2X4 studs that I would like to insulate. I heard that rockwool is a good insulator and can help absorb sound and lots of double bass
. Can anybody help me deteremine what product of rockwool I should use. Is this a good choice for insulating the studs? I'm also thinking about putting up two layers of sheet rock with a Resilant Channel (RC8) inbetween each layer of sheet rock. I've been looking into some products made by Auralex. They make a Resilant Channel called RC8.
