Anyone here uses the Rocktron Hush Super C Guitar Noise Reducer? I've read a little about it today and it's got some good reviews on it. How is it compared to the Boss NS-2? I have the NS-2 and it's good (not great) because I have a single coil pickup and it doesn't gate as much as I want to really reduce the (white) noises when the gain is up high in distortion. I was wondering if the Rocktron will do the job better? Any opinions? Inputs are appreciated.:D

I have a rack mounted one and it's great, never used the NS2 so I can't compare. However, it is a lot better than the Decimator - I found that killed the tone somehow. Hard to explain, anyway I wouls recommend the Hush. I have the same technology built into my Roctron Prophesy II and it gets exactly the same result. Ultra quiet without that annoying crackling decay I used to experience with my Boss GT-Pro.

I have an old Rocktron IIC. works pretty well doesnot seem to suck tone so much but I am gettin kinda deaf. btw I got it for 25.00 US.

Does it really reduce noise, hiss or hum almost completely?
