[rock] new untitled song

Hey everyone. New song I have been working. The usual Mbox, Powerbook. FLStudio drums with Sonic Implants soundfont which I don't really like.

Hope you like it. Any criticism always appreciated :)

 
haha you posted this is something awful: musicians lounge. i just listened to it and was going to reply. its really good. dont like the drums, but theyre not too bad. im not really a fan of programmed drums. the vocals sound good and so do the guitars.

good job there.

haha yeah I did. I usually post it there and here.

Yeah, the drums suck. I don't like them. But now that I fixed my problem I'm going to redo the drums with my normal FLStudio kit, so it will sound a little better. Don't have much of a choice with the electronic kits because I can't fit a drummer in my apartment, nor do I know any in the area that would play for me. But the other kit definitely sounds better.
 
I couldn't tell the drums were programmed, but I do think the lead vox are way too up front and loud. Sounds very much like modern rock you might hear on radio nowadays.
 
Playing not so tight, that delay effect on the guitars make it worse.

Guitars are a little too loud, sounds like mixed by guitarist.

Good drum programming...

mixes are pretty muddy and undefined... can do some low-cut and EQing.

Potential stuff! :)
