Hi there,
you guys mentioned something about converting MIDI tracks to digital audio so you can add audio effects to them. I had no idea this conversion was possible. Is it? and if so, how can I do it? I'd like to add some reverb to the MIDI drum tracks.
Thanks in advance. Replies both on and off list are welcome.

you need to record your drum machine as audio!! solo the kick for example and record it as an audio track. If you are using an external drum machine patch it into your soundcard and select audio record. Once it's an audio track you can EQ, add verb etc.
hope this helps
cheers

1. Make sure you have your soundcard set up to record MIDI/music. Usually a different button to the one that records Audio/Wave.
2. Solo the MIDI drum track.
3. Select a new track and set it up as Audio
4. Press R on the new track to Arm it.
5. Hit the Record button and Play the track.

When finished, you can mute the MIDI track and solo the new audio track. You should hear the drums!
Now you can apply FX to this audio track.

THANKS!!!! I'll look into your suggestions as soon as I get home tonight. You guys are great!!!
Buena suerte amigos and thanks one more time,

El Pájaro.
