Robert Johnson's "Love In Vain"

When the arrangement thickens up after the first minute it sounds hot. Nice layering of all the blues guitars. A little thin with the ac gtrs before that, but maybe that’s what you were going for. Overall a very tight performance. Enjoyed it.

Wow, this is a real treat!I'm more familer with the Stones version from "Let It Bleed"...this sounds just awesome to me!!Love the slide guitars on this...vocals sound great as well..no nits here..just diggin' it man!

I agree. The antique sound at the beginning is a bit thin, making the change abrupt and startling. Otherwise, the performance is great. I really like your voice! Kinda sounds like Elvis Costello at times. (hope that's a compliment for you!)
 
Cool version. I'm more familiar with the Stones live "Get Yer Ya Ya's Out" verson of this. Nice guitar work and vocals. I find that when the band comes in, the overall volume jumps a bit too much. But once it settles in, it's really cool. Another personal nit is I find the drms a little too "big" for this tune, but I'm sure that's what you wanted...Just a personal thing. Besides that, this version really kiks ass.
