i just saw john 5 on youtube talking about his teles : he has a signature production model but only plays the custom shop prototype.

i seriously doubt that RC actually plays the MIM guitar bearing his name. more than likely he plays something old and fender used that vintage one as the model for the sig series guitar they sell.TelePaul said:

I would say they are custom shop models. On another point, I saw him live at the Ryman theatre in Nashville a few years back and he also had a chrome finished Tele. When he soloed with it it had a sitar sound-anyone got a clue about that one?
