guys like him generaly have custom shop guitars, prototypes. i'd be surprised if he went from a handmade guitar to a mim prodiction model.

i just saw john 5 on youtube talking about his teles : he has a signature production model but only plays the custom shop prototype.

i seriously doubt that RC actually plays the MIM guitar bearing his name. more than likely he plays something old and fender used that vintage one as the model for the sig series guitar they sell.

most guys like that have a vintage or custom shop guitar or two that they've had for years and years and wouldn't dream of playing something like the guitars that bear their names.

cheers,
wade

cool cool thanks guys.

Bonnie Raitt plays her standard sig models on stage when she needs to use multiple tunings. Right off the shelf.

I would say they are custom shop models. On another point, I saw him live at the Ryman theatre in Nashville a few years back and he also had a chrome finished Tele. When he soloed with it it had a sitar sound-anyone got a clue about that one?
