Both of these seem to be amazing, but I haven't heard shit about either.
The price isn't an issue, quality is.

They both have pre's, and from what I hear, the Metric Halo's are amazing..so that's a plus.

Which would you choose, and which would you suggest for me?

I'll only be recording 2-3channels at a time max, but most likely 2, and I am most worried about the quality of the recordings.
 
i own a rme hdsp9632 with an 192khz rme expansion.

and i had the chance to test the metric halo for a week.

the metric halo is much better. the sound is warmer and bigger.
