Sounds pretty good, I just think the singer tried to sound too much like anthony kiedis.

I agree. Sounds like the singer was a bit unnatural. It's not a bad performance though. Such a good song.

I'm not familiar with the original so I can't compare.

Videos are super cool - the sound usually sucks but yours isn't bad. You've got some room reverb happening on the vocals which is cool. The harmonies work even though you're not mic'd directly. Guitar sounds pretty good.... I like the guitar playing and vocal delivery....the singer has a strong voice with nice tone.

Now on to the recording...:D

Much brighter guitar sound on this - maybe a bit too loud. I find it fighting the vocals. It has a nice stereo guitar sound though - how did you get that?
This is not the same version of the music from the video is it?

I wonder if you turned the brightness down on the guitar or up on the vocals it would allow the vocals to stand out a bit. Just thinking.....maybe I'm wrong though...

Good job overall...

Thanks! The second recording was a seperate recording from the video. I achieved the stereo effect from a matched pair of MSH-2s. Hard panned left and right. The brightness is probably just due to my EQing, I did it through computer speakers and iPod headphones, so I'm sure it needs work.
