RF Interference on my Event TR-8's

Yesterday, I bought a pair of Event TR-8's and I noticed that I'm getting RF interference on them, or so it seems. It sounds like a muted TV with quiet sounds in the background, like a radio or tv show. I will always hear this if they are powered on, and the signal gets a tiny bit stronger when I plug in my 1/4" audio cables.

Does anyone have any experience with this? know of any possible fixes?
