reverb phase??

I recently did a mix of a multi-track wave file to a stereo wave file, adding a small amount of reverb to the mix. In playing back the wave there was some weird "phase-like" effect going on, especially when the crash cymbals sounded. Any ideas what's causing it and how to remedy?

I think that your problem may be in the order that you mixed down. I know that mnay people add reverb during hte mixdown process, but I usually add the reverb to the tracks I want, I usually like it heavy on the vocals, and then almost none on cymbals. So, you might try remixing it, without the reverb, and just putting reverb on individual tracks. Not saying that is a cure all, just an idea.
