Taking the slow road
I hear some really nice reverbs on stuff, not sure how much of it I need lately mixes sound pretty dry on modern stuff, but my 'room' presets sound like a large bathroom.

Shorten the Decay and Pre Delay and don't mix it in so wet. Also try using Plate with some Chorus instead of a Hall or Room. But hey if you like how it sounds wet then pour it on. Its your mix and if your happy and your cleint

What reverb are you using?
Like Deepwater said, play around with the decay, predelay, and also diffusion if you have that control. My Waves reverb has a reverb level and wet/dry level, not sure if yours does, but finding the right balance between those will help a lot.
I noticed a big difference when I started messing with predelay and diffusion on mine.
