There are a few ways to do this. I will run you through the normal way.
Add an effects track, open the track up and insert a reverb in the first insert. If you really want to compress the reverb, insert a compressor in the second insert.
Go back to the vocal track, open it up and set up an effects send (they are on the right) right click on one of the sends and set it to the effects channel you just set up. Use the slider underneath to adjust how much is sent to the effect.
Another way to do it is to set up multiple group channels. In the first group channel insert the reverb in the next one set up a compressor. Go back to the voc channel and set up the effects send to go to the group channel with the reverb. Now send the vocal channel to the 2nd group channel (the one with the compressor). It is that thing above the pan knob that normally says bus 1. Set that to the group with the compressor. now go to the group channel with the reverb and send that to the group with the compressor the same way you did with the vocal channel. set the levels of the reverb (the reverb should be 100% wet) with the group fader. Now if you set the comp right, the reverb will duck out of the way of the vocals.
You may also insert a compressor in front of the reverb on that group channel.
