i need some mixing/editing advice.
Ok, here's my problem:
I recorded some vocals. the thing is, they were recorded at low volumes. When I process it through my dynamics processing plugin I boost up the volume and reduce unwanted noisethere's but there's some sort of reverb on S's and C's and at the end of some verses (and I don't want no reverb, I want dry vocals). how do i get rid of this? i've tried noise reduction killing those mid and high frequencies and nothing's working. most importantly, WHAT could of caused this?
I used a Shure SM 58 with a Mogami Cable using a Nady Preamp.
Could if be that I used my ATI soundcard line input to record?
