Hi, Please check out my new track 80s DISCO LOVE

Nice enough as a recording, but not at all 80's disco - ten years out I'd estimate. 80's disco had verses and choruses and virtually all had a melody. There are little bits of Donna Summer in places, but they appear then vanish. More 90's maybe?

Agreed. This leans more EDM.

All in all, it's well done for what it is. EDM basically pushes a beat w/ some ear candy thrown in. This fits that nicely. I find it gets rather monotonous to listen to for longer than a minute or two - but I'm not dancing to it. In a dance floor environment, it could go on as long as it likes and folks will likely continue to sway to it.

Thank you for your very thoughtful insights/analysis. My thought process for labelling this as 80s was because the overall sound seemed very disco :)
