I have just gotten the hang of recording midi drums thru my Alesis Dm5 and using DR-008 for samples. But the problem lies in Pro Tools 5.3.1. I was using a test "song" with just a midi track and an Aux track. I finally got it working and then I decided to switch over to an actual song and it wont record MIDI. The Song was restored from a CD-r. So Im thinking it might have something to do with that. Or does the Sample rate matter? I have checked almost every other setting between the 2 songs and they appear to be the same. Any help here???
