Hey all, well I would like to build a studio in my basement but well, have no idea where to start, what equipment to use or anything.. I've been writing/playing music for almost 15 years now and haven't really done any recording except maybe hitting record on a stereo just so I remember what I was writing.. Anyways, could anybody point me in the direction of any books, good sites, or anything that may be useful.. I've done some searching on here but alot of what I've found has been geared towards someone who has at least the slightest clue (unlike myself). As far as gear or equipment goes money isn't an issue at all and I would like to stay away from crap... Thanks for the help..
