Resonance Problem

Hi, I have a live studio with a slight resonance problem noticible especially in bass frequency (around 95-100hz). The room is fairly large (a car would just be able to fit in there), and I have carpet on the floor, and a mixture of wood and carpet on the walls (recomened by a sound engineer).

The reverb is warm and wood like, but the problem is the resonance around that frequency.

Does anyone have any tips on reducing it (or stabbing it to death ) as it's causing me slight problems with some instruments?

4 inches of Knauf 703 across each corner floor-to-ceiling would be a good starting point.

Try a search for bass traps, Ethan Winer, John Sayers, Knauf, Rockwool, Helmholz, and slot resonator.

Some broadband would definitely help.

For additional control in the bass, some wooden resonant panel absorbers would work well in your situation. I'd strongly recommend some soft absorbtion though as a first step. With just wood and carpet, you've got 2 big holes in the absorbtion scheme.
