Reslo PRH ribbon mic question

So, I've recently acquired this beautiful, and really cool sounding Reslo PRH ribbon mic.

Those of you with Reslos know that many of them were low impedence, and need a transformer to boost the signal, unless you've got a mic pre with really high gain and low noise.

Long story short, this Reslo works fine when I plug it straight into my pre amps, though it's in need of a bit of boost.

So, I obtained a Sowter trasnformer (made specifically for use with Reslos) to boost the signal, but whenever I throw that in the chain, I get this horrendous buzzing. The kind of buzzing that tells of a grounding problem.

Even weirder, the Sowter works fine with my other Reslos.

I have a few others Reslos, but they are completely different models, and I have never had this problem when using them through the Sowters. But given that they are different models, they are wired differently, so trying to replicate that with the PRH doesn't work.

If anyone happens to have a copy of the manual with schematic for the PRH, or if anyone owns a PRH and can tell me how it's wired up to the plug connector, that woudl greatly help. I've tried different things, connecting different pins in the cable and so on and so forth, and feel like I'm grasping at straws.

Thanks!
