My daughter and I had originally recorded this tune 5 or 6 years ago and it was a horrible recording to say the least.

We re-recorded it this year and I think it's much better thanks hugely to what I have learned about recording at home here at HR.

There's some electronic buzzing on the acoustic in the intro.

Otherwise, the mix sounds pretty good.

The song itsself sounds a bit Neil Young for my taste, but a lot of people seem to like him. :D

Pretty damn sweet Randy! No nits from me on anything. Your daughter sounds great too! She's got a magnificent voice.

Nice tune, Randy!
Your daughter's got a very nice and interesting voice, plenty of character there. I thought the mix sounded pretty good, nice acoustic sound. Good work.:)

Hey Randy, good song and performances by all involved-the sparce acoustic guitar gives it a great atmophere and the harmonized vocals sound excellent.

I really like the sound of the reverb on the guitar-it sound very much like a live club sound. Your daughter's vocal remind me of the Australian singer Casey Chambers.

I like it very much as it is-no remixing needed in my opinion
Tony...

I can hear the slight humming as well but its not enough to put you off the track...which is very good..mix sounded great and solid performances

you daughter has an excellent voice

Same as everyone else. No gripes here. Your kid has a great tone. She should absolutely keep it up.

Good stuff Randy, great singing by your daughter as well

Nice voice. You did a good job capturing the texture of her voice, and a nice job on the acoustic guit as well. Thanks for sharing.

Nice.

I also didn't like the early buzzing sounds... It's also a tad mono, I would go wider with the guitars.
