yo. if you record using a personal computer, i would love to hear your recordings.

I am trying to decide what soundcard/box/preamp/etc. to try out. so if you would, please link me to your music, and post what you used to record it. I would be eternally grateful.

The mp3 mixing clinic normally has a few mp3's ;) .... and most do say what they used, if not, then are happy to if you ask :D

There are a couple of preamp samples on The listening sessions, but they tend to be the more expensive ones...

If looking for samples on more specific kit... then the individual forums for types of items are prolly best to ask in... they do get quite specialized :)

wow, alex and apl .....stuff souds great. I'm going to have a fun time trying to make my stuff sound halfway as decent.

AMD64, SB Live, Art mixer, some recordings with behringer mics, others are direct. Software is Linux based (Ardour, hydrogen, etc).

There are others floating around on other people's sites and some that are not published without need for subscription to some site but that would be the main selection I guess.

I don't really know much about what I am doing so you should get a nice view of what the hardware sounds like :D

noroberts,

There is one called 'dog jam' that is a BT made by someone else and he used a machine of some sort I think. Otherwise all of the drums are software unless you are talking about the ones on the guitars101 site and then I don't know because most of those are with BT's that were made by other people I never knew and they very well could be real.
