Just plugged in the JVC cordless cans and walked outside while one of my creations was playing in the studio. Range for the cans is supposed to be 300 feet. I walked about 100 feet and no problem.
Noticed very good pick up of left/right stuff I had panned on some tunes on the tape.
The cans have rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries; the unit has its own recharge plug.
Has a mini stereo plug and an adapter for 1/4 inch. Not much assembly -- just a plastic cover for the antenna wire.
Cans have a "reset" button if some outside source butts in but I didn't notice any interference. Batteries will run for six hours without recharging and you can't overcharge the batteries in case you walk away and forget they are charging.
Overall sound quality is good. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5. [I stole that from EM -- heh, heh]
Walked around my pad into the kitchen which put two walls between me and the receiver in the studio -- no problemas.
Price: 70.00 plus shipping from Full Compass. And, if you shop around, these cans are hard to find NEW.
