Replacing Bass Pickup

I have a Yamaha bass guitar (model RBX264) and I want to change the pickup(s) in it. Its a P-style pickup but I have no clue on how to get inside the guitar.

Above is a picture of the bass. It has an alder body and theres no pickguard or anything to unscrew to get inside except on the back there is this little plate to access the tone/volume pots, etc.

If it is like most other p-pickups the adjusting screws go thru the outside wings of the pickups and the tension springs are underneath, simply unscrew the height adjusting screws.
