replacement bass necks

I just got a Carvin LB20- very pretty, sounds good etc -- which leaves an orphan old Jazz bass copy that works okay but has a funky neck. Any recommendations for a replacement maple/maple neck? It's standard 34" scale. I'm looking for one to make the old beast playable, not a state-of-the-art killer.

Check out on issue of Vintage Guitar Magazine. It's mostly adds for hundreds of vintage shops. Most of the shop keeps advertise parts and some shop specialize in parts.
