Check out this thread at VS Planet http://www.vsplanet.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/001772.html where a dude replaced the 250MB ZIP in his VS-880GX with a 2GB laptop hard drive, this yielded about 60mins of recording time using ALL 8 tracks.
