There is a thread in the mic forum that has been evolving into a DIY ribbon mod project for me.

The fun starts at around post #6 or 7. I got some good results on kick drum which I uploaded as mp3. Tell me what you think.

Sorry, it is already back together. I accidentally cross-threaded one of those teeny tiny screws in the process. Now I am reluctant to take the mic apart again. I may leave it like that forever. Otherwise I would get some new pictures for you.

Perhaps on the next mic project.
