Repair parts

I dropped something on my MR-8 and broke the "undo" button off of its grid (all of the right side buttons are attached to a common plastic grid, it's all one part). I tried my local Fostex rep (Greensboro NC), but they refuse to sell me another button grid. They want me to ship the unit to them and let them do it. Do any of you know of any other suppliers that will sell repair parts for the MR-8?

has to be shipped to fostex, mine was too, too bad you opened it up, if it was under warranty, its not anymore, once the seal is broken the warrenty is void
 
What's to loose?

If the warranty is now void, what on earth would they have to loose by selling me the parts? I only paid $300.00 for the unit, so by the time I let them repair it, it would probably be approaching the purchase price.

tell them it was a scratch and dent item and must have already been that way..... you would be too sacred to open up such advanced technology buy yourself (shhhhhhhh)
