Remote control for Nuendo

Okay the problem is this:
I need a remote control to control Nuendo from my recording room but I really don't know which of these controllers or interfaces allows me to do that.
Basically I would just need to control the transport bar i.e. play, stop, rec, rew... And maybe to switch the track I'm recording. With this setup I got right now I really don't put enough work on my acoustic guitar tracks. I just hit rec and run to the other room and play for a few minutes and then come back and pick the parts that didn't suck that much.
I've been looking at a few options and I really think that a USB-controller might be a good choice, since whit that I wouldn't have to get more Midi I/O. Yeah but if you got any solutions (that don't cost that much) for this problem I'd appreciate the help.

I think I recently saw an add from frontier designs for a little wireless remote that controls basic functions of Nuendo:)
 
Yeah that looks nice, real nice. Do you know what the priceframe will be for this thing?

Have you looked into wireless keyboards? You could take the keyboard in with you and use the keyboard commands to run the transport.
 
Another option is to do what I did. Get yourself a USB Keypad. There is all of your transport functions and they will work fine on a 30' USB extension if you need to.

Cheap! about $20!!

That keyboard thing might be good cause it will for sure work with any program now and in the future. I was just worried if the computer is ok with having two keyboards connected to it. If there's no problems with that this might be the best solution cause you really can do everything with the keyboard.

All the wireless keyboards I have used don't have enough range. When you get to the edge of their range they seem pretty unreliable.
