I remixed this last night using Ed's recent mixing thread as a guide. It's the first mix I've done that actually translates well to every stereo I have to try it on. There’s hope after all!

hey...you can thank me for listening to it!!:D

hey...and pour me one too!

vocals out of tune??
the fidelity of the music is nice..at least on my headphones. the wife is asleep to crank the monitors.
good stereo...and nice acoustic sound...it gets buried a bit.
Ed's comments where valuable...eh?

good job:)

Thanks Mixmkr, I appreciate that! I was beginning to think that EQ was something I would never figure out, but Ed's thread gave me a simple perspective. After plowing through the monstrosity a few times, I used most of his EQ suggestions as a sort of template and relied on EQ tweaking alone for most of the mix. It did wonders - you should hear it compared to the first mix. Oh, and I'd be shocked if the vocals are the only thing out of tune :)

2am. Am downloading right now. Will take a listen in the morning when I can turn up the monitors a bit.

Glad SOMEBODY got something out of that thread.
