I've read about karaoke products that can remove vocals from a CD, but wonder if anyone has experience with the opposite - isolating a vocal, but losing the rest of the instruments off a CD?
I picked up a CD from a local artist who has an incredible tune that suffers from weak production. I'd like to try my hand at a remix, but all I want to keep from the original is the vox. Might be tough, though, as there's a harmonica stepping on much of it...
