remix button?
hey can anyone tell me what the remix button does on a 4trak recorder because when i press it it does not really do anything because i dont what it is supposed to do. Any feedback would be great.

DO NOT PUSH THE REMIX BUTTON!!!!

oh wait, sorry. I get that confused with the History Erasor Button. What is your 4 track? I dont think remix buttons are standard equipment.

It could be you have the letters mixed up....

REMIX......IMREX.....RMXIE.....IXMER....MIXER

please ingore this post.

My old 85' Accord had a big "Trip" button next to the speedometer. When you pushed it, man, it gave off the coolest colors and patterns. I wish I had one for my Tascam 388.:D

You have the first ever 4track casette unit there. You shoud probably hang on to it incase they ever become valuable. I have no idea what that button could be for.

What is it placed by? Do you have a manual? If you can give some more info we might be able to make an educated guess.

hey

Thanks for replying everybody. The remix button is placed by the cue button and the buss control. I have no idea what it is supposed to do.When i press it it seems to disable the cue button's effect

Also i did not know that the 144 was the first track recorder. i think i will hang on to it for a while. the strange thing is that the 144 works better than any other multi recorder i have ever had. I wonder why?

o yea and i dont have a manual because i bought it used. I have been searching the web for a manual but i cant seem to find anything even about the track recorder (even on tascams website, and teac's) does anyone know where to find a manual or some info about it?

shit man, when you don't like the mix, you hit the "remix" button. Damn, I'm as smart as Roel.

Tascam 144 remix button

To get a manual for your Tascam 144, you might try requesting one via email to parts@teac.com. Just provide a written description of what you want. If you ask for a price quote, they'll email you one back. If you include your credit card info, mailing address, and shipping preference, they'll process your order and ship it to you. I've been able to get many obscure Teac/Tascam parts without any problem, so you might give this a shot. Good luck.

Be very careful when using that button. Because it re-arranges the molecular flow of the ferrous oxide particles on you cassette. Which could lead too....................

:D

Actually Spin..........

The Remix button - rearranges the Soft Molecular Processing of the Digital Vibrating Manual override Circuit. But it can also unprocess the Sequence of the Terminal Adjustment Proxy flux capaciter adapter. :P Does that Help.

LOL
Hey I tried :)
