I've been looking for info on this little gem for some time now with no luck.
Not even sure who made Titano. It's a 1 12" tube combo. Currently it's not working but I'd love to fix it up. Taped inside the openback enclosure was an envelope with the schematic so that should help. Here's what I can deduct from the diagram. 2 12AX7 and 1 12AU7 in the preamp stage, 1 6CS7 pre reverb and 1 12AX7 post reverb, 1 12AX7 in the tremelo circuit, and 2 6BQ5 in the power amp stage. I guess I'd like to re-tube the whole thing if you think it's worth it. What a good source for these tubes? It's a cool old amp and I'm dying to know what it's sonically capable of. Anyone know anything about this old amp? I don't have a digital camera so sorry no pics. Thanks in advance.

No go eh? I figure someone must know someting about this amp. Anything?

hey man try http://www.thetubestore.com. They have had everything ive needed in the past and are a great source. As far as electronics is concerned, I would just retube it and if something is still amiss about it then the next area to investigate would probably be to replace all the caps or at least the mains filters. Check for shoddy wiring and cold solder joints. Other than that I dont know anything in particular about that model amp. Check out ebay and remember google is your friend. lol

Yep found all I needed for this thing there. Prices are pretty good. Thanks again. What I did find was that Magnatone was the original company in Cali that made it. Circa 1964. This one is the 60W 1x12 combo. They also made a 40W 2x12 and a 40W 4x10. I'm replacing all the tubes and the factory 12" with a Carver Vintage 12". We'll see what we need from there on.
