Man, I worked 6 hours on the guit-tracks, aging hits as the tempo goes to 200bpm.:D

The Estonians call us Finns "reindeers" for reasons unknown to me.
Maybe I'll ask them sometime.
In anycase it's popular entertainment to get a cruise downthere, get drunk and make a total ass of yourself, get robbed, and miss the ship back home..:D:D

Once I'll find out how it's spelled the name will be:
"Reindeer visits south" -in Estonian.

It's below zero temperatures and sunshine here, I'd wish it'd stay that way.:p

Cool story, cool tune. Mix, tones and playing are great. I would say A-Okay....
:D:):D:)

Is it a weekend trip because the song certainly sets a cracking pace?
Nice use of keyboards.
Nice to hear a variety of guitar tones. The bass, my goodness - such well defined depths - I could feel my nose bleed!
Nice finnish (sorry - bad pun).
That was good, it'd be exhilarating live!

great tune and playing but i find this mix/mastering very fatiguing due to the abundance of high pitched sounds. i ran the mp3 through a spectrum analyzer and the peaks at 4000-7000 are amazing!

do you have a past with very loud amps?

when you said you're not good enough to play in a band what band were you referring to?

Thanks for listening everyone! And more so for commenting!!:)

I can take good or bad pun anyday.:)

Yes, the highs.

I do have loss of upper register due to industrial metalwork, but the biggest culprit here could be the "sonic maximizer", I used to inhance separation of the mix. (for the first time). It accentuates highs a lot (makes wonders to the lows too), and after that another "maximizer"-plugin--> havoc to cymbalsounds of PC-drums, specially hi-hat turns into a hideous sizzle. I've noticed that the all digital cymbals turn that way?
..I've been wonderin if I should do some "pre-mastering" BEFORE adding the drumtrack...

I heard the cymbals are unnatural, but didn't think more of it, thanks for pointing it out for me.:)

nice guitar work :) the song is quite stirring :) i can't say anything about the mix, it sounds alright on my computer speakers. :)

well done :)
