regarding whisper singing like celine's titanic...

am i right if i wanna record singing with whisper tone like my heart will go on in the verse
i have to turnup the gain at mic pre than usual or what?
i tried it but also picked up more of floor noise
any more technics?

You need a mic with a hotter output and/or a pre with a lower noise floor on high gain settings for that kind of stuff.

I dont know the specific song you mentioned but when I want to create breathy wispering vocals I use a compressor.

using a ratio between 5:1 - 10:1 with a very fast attack a medium release and a threshold of 6-20dB below the peak.
Now add a little reverb and this should give you this affect.
How ever the sound is in your face and will make every think intensive. You lips smacking will realy smack !
