Okay guys... one more last help!!!

I'm operating on the Omni I/O setup with the delta 66 pci...

okay problem is:

when I record it only goes into the left side.... the right side is violent... my solution thus far has been to use the "antares mic moduler" and that for what/e reason does its effect and then fills in the right side... but is there a more practical way?... it just bothers me that when i record, it only goes into my left ear.. its like i'm deaf lol... thanks guys...

"The right side is violent?"

Do you mean "silent"?

Depending on which hardware input you're plugging into on your soundcard, you need to select either a left or a right input in the input box for the track that you want to record on.

If you select a stereo input source for the track, and then use a mono input that's only coming in on one side, you will record a stereo track that only has a signal present on one side.

If you look in the Delta's monitor mixer you'll see which side of the input pair is active, set the track's recording input to the same side.

For monitoring, you can set the pan control for the active input on the Delta's monitor mixer to pan the input monitor signal to the center.

:)

I guess that solves the problem partially.... well at least I got the balanced sound issue out the way.... But now.... when I record into the mic with my headphones on... I can't hear myself on the right side?...

thanks first though... hahhah I'm jumping for joy now... 60% of my day's problems has vanished.

Re-read the last part of my earlier post, you can set the pan control on the Delta's monitor mixer page to pan an active input's signal to the center for monitoring purposes, this is also where you can adjust the monitoring volume of any active inputs against the output from your recording software.

Setup the Delta's monitor mixer to use HW out 1/2 for the monitor mixer, setup your recording software to use SW out 1/2 as it's output, you will then have control over the software's output level in the Delta's monitor mixer.
