im looking to try out a few recording programs before i spend alot of money ive tried a few sights on the internet but they never let you explore the different sounds or drum tracks

Most every program will let you have a demo/free version. Usually it is very limited options or limited tracks but still gives you a feel of the programs. Just check their websites.

You have to add the sounds and drum tracks yourself. The recording programs are just the tool for making music, not the actual music.
