Recording work experience

Hey there again folks, its been a while since I visited the site, but I need your help again. I am just about to finish my module on the Theory and Practice of electroacoustic music,sounds fancy but basically it means studying the last few composers that started electronic music and learning how to use the recording studios and mixing desks, and dats ect.The thing is, after the end of my course at Keele uni, england uk, I want to work in the recording field within the media, you have links to places to gain work experience but they are all for the usa and canada, do you know of any companies that operate in the uk,(ie any websites some of you have come across) so I can gain experience over the summer? Newbie in need
